Lately I’ve been on a health-kick - Working out a lot, getting rest, not going out as much, eating dinner at home and such. $1 Drinks
Whatever bar in whatever town that thought up the idea of selling (rail) drinks and beer for $1 should not only be applauded but also kicked in the face. Wednesday night is $1 drink night at Lush Bar in Minneapolis - Somehow I get roped into going, even though I have to work the next morning. Luckily for me, I’m a professional drinker and don’t require more than four hours of sleep...

Michelle Bachmann won. Damn you Coon Rapids.
Emmer and Dayton are in a recount that is sure to last into 2011.
Republicans took The House of Reps. Whatever.

Election Time
The Minnesota elections are right around the corner! Will our friends in Stillwater send that crazy bitch Michelle Bachmann back to Washington DC once more? Will Mark Dayton, aptly named “The most ineffective Senator” become our Governor? Will Tim Pawlenty toss his hat into the 2012 Presidential race? It’s all up in the air baby! I’m excited.

Big Sunglasses.
My grandmother had the kind of sunglasses that changed colors in the sunlight. They were purple and pink and she wore a gold chain to hold them in place. I was seven and my grandmother was my hero so why wouldn’t I wear them to school? Why wouldn’t kids make fun of me?

DYNASTY
Dallas is my all time favorite show but Dynasty will always be the show that made me want to be a bitch. When I’m in a meeting and it gets boring I picture myself in a fur hat shouting “Blake, I just purchased controlling interest in your company!” then I wake up and continue talking about ads, status and production.

Skipped the entries this weekend as I had a run-in with the emergency room which led to the following conclusions:
I have an ulcer that is aggravated by stress.

Remember when we all work biker shorts in the 80’s?
I remember wearing my biker shorts to the Dairy Queen and in the summer wearing them in the lake as an alternative to swim trunks.
One of my friends had an older brother who wore his shorts without underwear. Need I say more?
